A new chapter is beginning in Sofia’s cultural landscape. Today, we are excited to announce that the first steps are officially underway to create The Frame Art Gallery, a hybrid space dedicated not only to exhibiting art, but also to producing it. What is now an empty shell—bare walls, open floors, and quiet corners—will soon become a vibrant environment where creativity in all its forms can take shape.

The Frame Art Gallery is being designed as more than a gallery. Our aim is to build a multifunctional creative hub, a place where visual artists, photographers, writers, designers, and thinkers can meet, collaborate, and express themselves. The concept is simple but ambitious: to offer Sofia a space where art is not just displayed after it is completed, but where the entire creative process can be lived, observed, and shared.

Renovation work has officially begun. The coming weeks will be filled with dust, tools, sketches, and countless decisions—how to shape the light, how to define flexible exhibition zones, how to carve out studio areas that will feel inspiring yet functional. Every detail is being considered with one goal in mind: to create a home for art that feels alive, adaptable, and welcoming.

As construction progresses, we will continue documenting the transformation of the space, sharing updates, behind-the-scenes images, and reflections on the journey. Building The Frame Art Gallery means building a community, and we want you to be part of that process from the very beginning.

In a few months, these bare walls will host exhibitions, workshops, talks, book events, and unexpected encounters. But for now, we celebrate the beginning—the moment when vision turns into action.
